Publisher Textiles & Papers is a Sydney based hand screen printing studio/factory in cosmopolitan Leichhardt. We specialise in the age-old technique of hand-screen printed wallcoverings, fabrics and one-off unique collections of cushions. Owned and run by Mark Cawood. The designs at Publisher Textiles & Papers are a one off showcase of Mark’s eclectic mix of work. Publisher Textiles (formally) opened its doors in 2002 with humble beginnings and a door into the niche “cottagey industry”. Now, ten years on, it is a leading wallpaper company within Australia, but still to this day, uses the same age-old hand-screen printing technique to produce all of its wallpapers and fabrics at the highest possible standard of quality.
Another section of our company is to commission print for already established and up and coming fashion and interior designers, with the likes of Milk from a Thistle, Therese Rawsthorne, Romance Was Born, Zimmerman, Akira Isagowa, Amy Kaehne, Nookie and Gaawaa Miyay are just a few that come through the doors at PTP.
